Have you ever felt like you are experiencing the same hard lesson over and over again? Have you found yourself wondering “Why do I keep manifesting these negative choices?”
It often feels as if you have lost control, and the Universe is just sending you the same painful lesson over and over again until you FINALLY get it! This often happens because of the law of attraction. Your thoughts and feelings manifest into your reality. Unfortunately, this law of attraction does not differentiate between positive and negative.
So, how do you break this vicious cycle? How do you get off the crazy train and start living a positive, fulfilling life? Here are three things to notice about yourself, and how to begin to make changes if they come up for you.
1. Do you consistently talk/complain about the problem?
If you answer yes to this question, you need to stop complaining immediately! This is the number one reason history continues to repeat itself.
Complaining can be super addictive. The more you talk about something, positive or negative, the more it is drawn to you. And, let’s face it, many people like to complain. Make good choices in whom you surround yourself with…complainers are often drawn to complainers. You want to attract positive people!
2. Do you obsessively think about your problems?
Worrying constantly generates momentum. But so does positive thought. The more you think about something, the more it overtakes your life.
Our minds are constantly bombarding us with thoughts at a rapid pace. So, choose positive thought patterns. Yes, this is easier said than done. However, you must try. Meditation, yoga, and other mindfulness practices can help. Be gentle with yourself, and remember it is a practice.
3. Are you acting out of fear?
Again, the law of attraction does not differentiate between positive or negative. So, if you are experiencing fear or anxiety about something, and consistently let these emotions rule your decisions, you will often find yourself suffering at the fate of your biggest fear.
If you can keep your fear-based response in check, you can alter your energetic vibration and naturally change your emotional mindset. We have all heard the saying “fake it till you make.” This is exactly what I am talking about. Force yourself to see the problem differently, even if at first you don’t buy into it. Eventually your thought patterns will shift. You will be able to act out of faith instead of fear. Then, you will invite in the positive, leaving the negative attraction behind.
These three questions are BIG! It’s amazing what we can actually see about ourselves when we take the time to notice. If you feel overwhelmed after self reflection, pause. Take a breath. Start small. Be gentle. Remember it’s all a practice!
