One good way to tell if you are getting enough water is to calculate the ounces according to your weight. You should be drinking half of your body weight in ounces every day. For example, if you are 200 pounds, you should drink at least 100 ounces of water per day. This is the bare minimum.
If you are sweat a lot or drink caffeine, you should add more water per day since your body is losing some of the water. Try staying clear of bottled water if it is packaged in plastic. Many sources now suggest that bottled water is not the ideal way to get your water.

The main concern when using coffee as part of a weight-control program is if you are also consuming sugar and cream. These two foods will counteract any benefits you gain from coffee. If you must use a sweetener, use Stevia. For cream, substitute unsweetened almond milk creamer. This will make your coffee healthier!

Furthermore, spicy peppers also help to eliminate hunger cravings. Thus, they are the perfect food to add flavor to a meal while also giving your body a bit of a boost.
5. Oatmeal

Oatmeal is a whole grain that can help you to lose weight. Serve it with with a bit of peanut butter or cinnamon and honey. This grain is actually a carbohydrate that releases slowly in the body. This means that it can keep you feeling full longer, in addition to boosting metabolism.
Whole grains are also extremely high in nutrients. Oatmeal bars, oatmeal cereal, and even oatmeal cookies are a good way to satisfy those sweet cravings in a healthy way. Just make sure not to pack in too much sugar!
